Pair of Hand-Painted Nesting Tables With Golf Wall Art
Item Details
A pair of hand-painted nesting tables with golf wall art prints. This collection includes two small nested tables with hand-painted scenes to the top. The smaller table depicts a gentleman golfer and reads, “Prestwick Golf Club 1898”. Both are raised on round legs with low square box stretchers. The larger print is an offset lithograph after an original drawing titled, The Golf Swing Progression. It depicts nine illustrations with descriptive captions below each. It is housed in a wooden frame with gadroon edging and hangs by a bracket to the verso. The smaller offset lithographic print after original drawings by Martha Hinson, depicts a selection of antique golf clubs. It is signed in-plate to the lower right, and presented with two original U.S. postage stamps featuring Babe Zaharias and Bobby Jones. It is professionally matted and framed behind glass.
