Cross-Stitch Portraits of Emmett Kelly, Jr.
Item Details
A pair of cross stitch embroideries featuring the ‘Weary Willie’ persona of Emmett Kelly Jr. (1923-2006). These pieces were stitched from patterns in the ‘Emmett Kelly, Jr. Collectors Series’ by Green Stuff Inc. One piece features the sad clown sweeping the floor in a spotlight and the other shows him in his dressing room, looking sadly into the mirror and putting on makeup. Embroidered at the bottom of each is the signature of Emmett Kelly, Jr. as well as the initial ‘M’ and date that it was stitched. Both are presented behind double mats and glass in wood frames. One has a wire and the other has a sawtooth bracket for hanging.

- minor edge wear to frames.
