Iron Sculpture of Kokopelli and Dog

An iron sculpture. This piece depicts a Kokopelli flute player and a small dog. Kokopelli is a fertility deity, sometimes known as a trickster, figuring in the mythology of some Native American tribes in the Southwest. The sheet iron figures are mounted on an oval base with serrated edges. The piece is signed in iron with a mark that appears to read ‘b. bay.’
