A cut amethyst geode and a quartz crystal cluster. This pair of geologic specimens features an amethyst geode that has been cut to make a ring that displays a blue banded cryptocrystalline outer rim that grades into light to medium purple euhedral amethyst crystal points with minor limonite inclusions and staining. Also included is a clear quartz specimen that displays euhedral crystals with a hexagonal prism with six sided pyramidal termination common to the mineral quartz. No collection locality information is provided for these specimens.
