Castilian Blue and White Ginger Jar Style Urn
Item Details
A blue and white ginger jar style lidded urn from Castillian. This urn has a domed lid with a foliate bronze-tone finial knob, an octagonal body with sloping shoulders and a tapered bottom, and a bronze tone base with scrolling feet and floral elements. The piece is off-white and has blue floral designs under a scale pattern. It is marked to the underside ‘Castilian Not for Foot Purpose’.
Condition
- crackle glaze; light tarnish to the base; staining and marks to the underside.
