Limited Edition Japanese Amber Glass Bookend With Cicada and Tree Motif

Item Details

A limited edition Japanese molded amber glass bookend. The arch-shaped Art Nouveau-inspired piece features an embossed cicada to the front and a tree design to the top, with a knotted branch extending outward from the right side. The item is signed with incised Japanese characters to the underside; however, no clear artist attribution could be made. It is additionally hand numbered to the underside as 928 out of an edition of 1999, with an additional notation of ‘1997.3’.
