Late 19th Century Reproduction Decorative Tiles "Replica Tile I" and "Replica Tile II"
Item Details
A pair of late 19th century reproduction tiles titled Replica Tile I and Replica Tile II. These pieces present antiqued square tiles with floral motifs in a low relief mould, which are painted in a brushed bronze tone. To the lower margins is a handwritten title and period each tile was created, circa 1870 and circa 1890. Each tile is presented on white backing under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with sawtooth hangers to the verso for hanging.
Condition
- backing paper punctured to the versos of both frames.
