Item Details
A hand-stitched floral embroidery on linen. This piece features a palette of high-sheen crimson, camel, forest green, white, and gold tone threads to create Persian inspired floral imagery. It has a central lotus blossom surrounded by narcissus and palmettes. A border of rosettes and a wavy vine finishes off the stitched work. It is presented behind glass in a gold tone frame with a linen liner and wired for hanging.
Condition
- slight edge wear to frame; paper backing is ripped; embroidery stretched slightly unevenly in frame; information to the verso has been destroyed by tearing.
