Marvin Finn Folk Art Parrot Sculpture

A hand-crafted wood parrot sculpture by folk artist Marvin Finn (1913 – 2007). This piece is made of a carved, flat board mounted on a wood base. It depicts a bird with a parrot-like beak, blue striped plume, red-striped tail, and blue and brown speckles, all over yellow. The base is painted light green. The piece is signed ‘Finn 88’ on the underside.

Condition

- there are scratches and scuffs throughout, including one noticeable scratch on the leg area; the piece wobbles.
