A vintage Chippendale style mahogany chair. This chair features a serpentine crest with carved acanthus leaf and scroll shoulders over a carved and pierced openwork splat, set into shoe molding and surrounded by graduated stiles. The chair includes mortise and tenon construction with a slip seat in blue velvet and rising up on cabriole front legs with carved claw and ball feet.
