Marvin Finn Folk Art Quail Sculpture

A hand-crafted wood quail sculpture by Marvin Finn (1913 – 2007). This folk art piece is made of a carved, flat board mounted on a wood base. It depicts a stylized quail with a red plume and purple, black, and white body and tail feathers. The base is painted light blue. The piece is signed ‘2000 Finn’ on the underside. Marvin Finn was born in Alabama and starting producing unique folk art in 1972.
