A wooden folk art sculpture of a bird by Marvin Finn (1913 – 2007). This folk art depiction of a bird has an egg-shaped body sitting upon two long sticks for legs. Its wings, feathers, and facial details are all painted on the smooth body, and its feet are painted on the wooden base. The piece is signed ‘Finn’ to the base and dated ‘88’. Marvin Finn was born in Alabama and starting producing unique folk art in 1972.
