William & Mary Style Painted Buffet

Item Details

A William & Mary style painted buffet. This piece features a mahogany top, and an antiqued ivory finish to the base. The rectangular base has a beveled edge and a low gallery to the back. To the front is a stack of two dovetail jointed drawers to the center. The drawers are flanked by two cabinet doors with arched trim and carved foliate accents. The drawers and doors open with ornate brass-toned drop pulls, and the apron features carved foliate scrolls. It stands on turned legs with stretchers and bun feet.
