An antique E. & H. T. Anthony & Co. large format studio camera featuring an antique brass French Darlot lens. The camera features mahogany construction with dovetail joinery with a brass lens marked ‘Darlot Opticien, Paris, 35412’ and includes the dry plate negative film holder. The camera stands upon an adjustable wood stand with metal hardware. The camera was manufactured by E. & H. T. Anthony & Company which was one of the most popular U.S. photographic suppliers in the 19th century.
