A hand-knotted Pakistani Royal Bokhara area rug. This wool rug features Afghan tekke guls and stylized chemche guls throughout the field. The primary border offers an alternating starburst pattern flanked by multiple guard borders with a harlequin pattern and hooked diamond patterns at each end. The rug is finished with overcast edges and a knotted wool warp fringe at either end. A tag is attached to the reverse marked ‘Royal Bokhara’ and ‘Pakistan’.
