Early 20th Century Neoclassical Style Table with Elaborate Marquetry

An elaborate marquetry-decorated table in the Neoclassical style, constructed circa the early 20th century. This table features a burl veneer to its top with intricate marquetry throughout, displaying musical instruments and music scrolls to the center and urns to each end. Scrolling foliate marquetry is present throughout the top, as well as to the apron, which is ornamented with foliate-pressed brass edges. A large urn and scrolling foliate piece of marquetry is present to the face of a single hand-dovetailed drawer. The table sits on four tapered and fluted legs with brass accents and ball feet; a curved x-stretcher with large brass urn finial is present between the legs.
