A limited edition etching on paper by listed American artist Jack Coughlin (born 1932). The piece, titled James Joyce, depicts a monochromatic portrait of the Irish novelist wearing a brimmed hat and glasses. It is signed in graphite to the lower right, titled to the lower left and numbered to the lower left as 46 out of an edition of 100. It is additionally noted with ‘24-118-’ to the lower margin. It is set over an off-white background and presented under glass in a carved wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- surface wear, nicks and scratches to frame; moderate edge wear to frame; slight toning to upper margin of print; sticker present to lower left of glass.
