A signed artist proof lithograph on paper titled Fields at Morning by New York born artist Robert Kipniss (b. 1931). This print depicts a vast field with few trees. The artist proof is numbered 15 in an edition of 15 and is signed by hand, both to the lower margin in graphite. Mounted under a single layer of white matting, the print is presented under glass in a brown wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes and paper pocket occupied by a certificate of authenticity from Merrill Chase and a biography about the artist are all present to the verso of the frame. Kipness is best known for his surrealist and monochromatic prints of landscapes.
