A Louis XV style fauteuil by Baker Furniture. This armchair features a rectangular back with serpentine crest rail over a square seat flanked by padded and carved wood arms. The seat rests over a serpentine apron with wood carvings and rises on cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carvings to the knees. The piece terminates in scroll feet and is marked ‘Baker Furniture’ to the underside.
