A lithograph on paper of an original painting titled Mexican Mother by listed artist Jean Charlot (1898-1979), dated 1948. This print depicts a mother clutching her infant child in her arms in front of a red background. The print is titled to the lower left and dated, signed in plate and signed by hand in graphite to the lower right. Mounted under a single layer of red matting, the print is presented under glass in a gold tone wood frame with wire present to verso for hanging purposes. With an education from the Ecole de Beaux arts in Paris, Charlot was influenced by his Aztec roots and was friends with Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros and Jose Orozco.

- chipped paint and scratches present throughout the frame.
