An antique Louis XVI style canapé settee. The French settee has a rounded back, framed in a walnut carved with a layered trefoil band, curved arms with acanthus leaf-carved details and scrolled ends with upholstered armrests and a carved frieze apron with ribbon motif. The settee has tapered and fluted legs topped with square floral-carved blocks. The settee is upholstered in a beautiful apricot velvet in a dimensional quilted pattern.
