Salvador Dalí Original Lithograph from "Les songes drôlatiques de Pantagruel"
Item Details
A signed limited edition lithograph on Japon printmaking paper of an original gouache painting by famed Spanish Surrealist Salvador Dalì’s (1904 – 1989) series Les songes drôlatiques. This print was released in the small edition of 50 copies of the image printed without color. The print is created in thin black linework, depicting a bird-like figure standing beneath an arch of bones in a curious landscape. The print is signed by Dalì and numbered 18/50 in pencil to the lower corners. A field cut to the verso of the matting also reveals that it is signed by Dalì-expert Albert Field to the verso, providing additional authentication. It is matted in white and wrapped in acetate for safekeeping, awaiting your choice of framing. Included as field 73-7 in the Catalogue Raisonné, “The Official Catalog of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dalí” by Albert Field, pages 172-173.
