Paul Harmon Original 1987 Acrylic & Spraypaint on Canvas
Item Details
An original 1987 mixed media painting with acrylic and spray paint on canvas by well-listed artist Paul Harmon (Tennessee/France; born 1939). The painting depicts a graphic portrait of a lounging man with luxurious, fiery red hair, creeping across the pictorial space, clinging with great intention to a wooden table on which a bouquet of flowers rests. Forms are rendered with perforated black outlines that have been stenciled across the painting. The piece is signed and dated to the lower right. The painting is presented in a composite frame with ornate cast surface embellishments, gold tone finish, and a hanging wire. Harmon has exhibited extensively worldwide, and was the recipient of the Prix de la Ville de Monaco and the Prix de la Société E.J.A. at the XXIV Prix International D’Art Contemporain de Monte-Carlo.
