An original mixed media folk painting with acrylic paint and various striped and gridded paper on wood panel by contemporary Kentucky folk artist known simply as “Sweet Tea”. The image depicts a naivete-style image of a bird wearing a crown, surrounded by blue and black geometric shapes set against an ivory background with decoupaged paper. The piece is signed in black to the lower right. The verso is equipped with a pair of sawtooth hangers.
