An antique Dresden Unterweißbach porcelain figural group. The piece depicts an 18th century courting with a reclining woman dressed in a gathered and tiered ivory lace gown with lace-trimmed bodice and applied colorful flowers to the skirt, and a gentleman dressed in a raspberry coat with open-necked shirt, his left hand placed on the lady’s bosom and his right hand around the lady’s shoulders. The pair are shown in a landscape with flowering tree to the right, with the lady’s flower-decorated orange hat placed on a stone, and flowered-strewn oval base with curvilinear feet and gilded scrollwork decoration. The piece is marked with the blue Dresden crown with Unterweissbach in an urn form with 1832 below and impressed production number.
