An original mid-century Modernist still-life oil painting on canvas signed in white paint to the lower right by artist Foy. This stunning image, executed with a geometric, planar analysis aesthetic, depicts a bowl of oranges on a pedestal, a bottle of chianti and a plate of orange halves resting on a turquoise tablecloth in front of a bright window illuminated with yellow light. The painting is mounted behind a linen liner with wood fillet in a simple wood panel frame with a silver tone border, equipped to hang.
