Mixed Media Nature-Themed Assemblage

Item Details

A mixed media nature-themed figure assemblage. The piece is made from a variety of objects in a busy flurry of texture and color, including bark, shells, teeth, feathers, wings, beads, hair, handmade fibrous paper, and more. The objects are assembled to loosely represent an abstracted figure. The pieces are all mounted to a white textured paper background. They are mounted in a deeply-set modern acrylic glass shadowbox-style frame. The piece is unsigned. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.

Condition

- one small piece of green sea glass has come loose from the assemblage and is resting at the base of the frame.
