Chinese Painting on a Black Lacquer Panel
Item Details
A Chinese painting on a black lacquer panel. This depicts wide green leaves interspersed with pink blossoms and two perched songbirds against a mottled gold ground. There is a red seal in the upper right and a red medallion in the lower right corner. This work is presented with a decorative brass handing bracket attached at the top.
Condition
- scratches to panel to lower left, below the image; other minor abrasions to the surface; wear to decorative brass hanger.
