Middle East Inspired Ink Illuminated Texts
Item Details
A collection of Middle East inspired ink illuminated texts. These five aged manuscripts, three of which contain matching compositions, depict script arranged within an arched formation composed of scrumbled swirls clustered together. This motif is reinforced in the other two works, one of which possibly utilizes Arabic. Each page is placed on backing board and is wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve.
Condition
- sever toning to surface; torn and curled edges; water damage present.
