A Chinese embroidered silk textile. The piece depicts a Chinese landscape scene with mountains, trees, homes, a small foot bridge and a body of water with sampans carrying passengers. The work utilizes threads in pale hues of pink, green, grey, purple, red and brown. The unsigned textile is matted in cream and presented under acrylic glass in a bamboo-motif wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
