An assortment of small porcelain bowls. This twelve piece collection includes a plate with a blue daisy design, marked to the underside ‘England’ with a marking indicating it was produced by Wileman & Co.; three bowls with fluted and gilt rims with a light pink and grey rose and floral design, marked to the underside ‘Fine Bohemian China Made in Czechoslovakia Maria’; and a plate with a gilt rim and a blue dotted fountain-type design, marked ‘Vitreous Edwin M. Knowles’ on the underside. Also included is a platter with a black patterned rim, off-white and yellow floral designs, marked ‘Made in Japan’ to the underside; and four pieces from Gold Medal St. Louis in the Minerva design, each with a blue floral rim, accented with three segments that contain a red rose and blue poppy.
Condition
- wear to underside of each; chip on the underside of the rim of the Gold Medal bowl; crackle glazing on several pieces.
