A mixed media collage on Arches paper. This work uses fibrous brown, purple and gold tone papers, cut and torn, to create a sculpturally layered collage. The work is layered in such a way that the shadows cast by the paper become part of the work, and it is signed and dated what appears to read ‘Bolinger Cohen ’96’ in pencil to the lower right. This work is presented behind glass in a gold tone frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
