Reproduction L. Hitchcock Windsor Style Dining Set

Item Details

A vintage dining set including a table and six Windsor style chairs, in an Early American style. The chairs are stenciled to back of seat ‘L.HITCHCOCK. HITCHCOCKS-VILLE. CONN. WARRANTED’, the ‘N’ in ‘Conn’ and ‘Warranted’ have been stenciled backward, indicating that the set is a later reproduction. The table has an oval top, with stenciled gold tone border designs, and lathe turned legs. The chairs have a partially black painted finish, stenciled motifs to the crest rail, and a lathe turned spreader base. Protective pads for the table are also included.
