A hand-knotted Isfahan wool accent rug. The rug features a palette of indigo, cream, pale pink, and burgundy with cream fringe with an ornate curvilinear lozenge. It has a central salmon colored floral pendant medallion and the field surrounding is a large scale pattern of islimi with trefoil carnations, flowerheads and palmettes in mocha, pale coral, pale blue and ivory, repeated in the spandrels. The rug features three borders with light blue, white, and indigo flowers on the pale coral field. It has overcast edges and a dense and fine cotton warp fringe. Unlabeled.
