Mike Mayhew Original Graphite Storyboard Proof for "Zorro"

An original graphite on paperboard uninked storyboard proof by listed comic illustrator Mike Mayhew (born 1980). The page is from an edition of Zorro, intended to be printed on page 21 of an issue numbered ‘14.’ The piece depicts Zorro and another man fighting while racing side-by-side on horseback. Printing and trim marks can be seen in the margins. The page number, title, and artist’s signature are all visible to the upper margin of each page. They are presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation. A sheet of glassine covers the face of the drawing for safekeeping. The artist’s website can be found below under Additional Information. A certificate of authenticity signed by famed American comic author Don McGregor is included.
