A lithograph on paper after original work titled Minotaur, drinker, and women by well-listed artist Pablo Picasso (Spain, 1881 – 1973), originally dated circa 1956. Lithograph printed by Fernand Mourlot, Editon III. The piece depicts the figures of a minotaur holding a woman contiguous to man drinking, rendered with irregular black delineations. This work is unsigned. A label to the verso reads ‘Cover for Picasso, Lithograph by Fernand Mourlot. Editon III’. Presented behind glass, beneath an olive green linen mat with a black fillet, housed in a gilt frame with a black top edge.
