Cold War Era Brass Kieninger and Obergfell Torsion Pendulum Clock

Item Details

A brass torsion pendulum clock from the maker Kieninger and Obergfell. This piece features a brass frame with glass sides, a fretwork pattern clock face and a is powered by a chrome tone winding key. The maker’s and location marks are stamped on the underside of the frame which labels West Germany as the nation of origin.

Condition

- the fifth hour numeral of the clock face is detached; various degrees of light surface wear and tarnish present on the pieces; the clock was not tested.
