Vintage Vanity Hutch and Chair by Dixie Furniture

Item Details

A vintage vanity hutch and chair by Dixie. The vanity hutch is constructed of pine and features a rectangular molded edge top above a two door cabinet flanked by open shelving to either side. The cabinet door features raised panels and opens to an interior with glass shelving, mirror backing, and an overhead light. The hutch rests on a desk with a beveled edge rectangular top over a center drawer flanked by two small drawers. The drawers are constructed using dovetail joinery and feature brass pulls. The desk rises on four ball and ring turned legs. To the drawer of a desk is the mark ‘Dixie.’ The chair features a turned spindle back over a square upholstered seat. The chair rises on turned legs terminating in ball feet and supported by an H stretcher. The underside of the chair is marked ‘Dixie Furniture.’
