A hand-knotted Afghan Baluch accent rug, likely from the Farah province region. The rug features a geometric diamond center field composed of brown, red and blue tones. with half medallions along the inner border. It has a triangular and checked compound border in the field colors, with thick overcast edges, wide kilim skirts in the field colors, and natural, undyed wool warp fringe to each end. Unlabeled.
