It features Pablo Picasso: A Retrospective edited by William Rubin, published in 1980 by the Museum of Modern Art; Pablo Picasso: Designs for ‘The Three-Cornered Hat’ (Le Tricorne) edited by Parmenia Migel, published in 1978 by Dover Publications, Inc.; and Pablo Picasso: Toros y Toreros, Texte de Luis Miguel Dominguin et une étude de Georges Boudaille published in 1980 by Köln, DuMont Schauberg. Two of these books have hardcover bindings with the original dust jacket and slipcase and the remaining book is paperback. The lot also includes a New York Times newspaper with a headline about publishing Pablo Picasso: A Retrospective from Friday, May 16, 1980, a photograph of Picasso, and two Picasso art exhibition pamphlets from 1980.
