Japanese Hand-Painted Vase

Item Details

A hand-painted vase produced in Japan. This vase has a small round mouth with a gold tone rim, and high, sloping shoulders. It is hand-painted with grape bunch designs, and hills with red and green trees separated by a lake, with a mountain in the distance. The designs are accented in gold tone. There are remnants of a decal to the underside which likely said ‘Made in Japan’.

Condition

- crackle glazing; wear to underside rim; most of decal has peeled off.
