A signed, limited edition lithograph on paper titled Brothers by Cherokee artist Ben Adair Shoemaker (b. 1941). The print depicts a Native American in profile surrounded by flying birds and clouds. The print is signed in plate, signed by hand in graphite and numbered 195 in an edition of 350, all to the lower right corner. The piece is mounted under glass in a black acrylic frame. A wire for hanging purposes, a framer’s decal and a decal with the title of the piece are all present to the verso of the frame. Shoemaker is an esteemed member of the Quapaw, Shawnee, and Cherokee tribes, with art held in multiple public art collections across the United States.
