Mid-Century Desk and Maple Chair

A mid-century desk and chair in maple. The desk features an over-sized, rectangular panel top over a pair of stacked drawer columns surrounding a smaller drawer. The drawers include dovetail joinery, metal pulls and the columns rest on plinth bases with bracket feet and the unit has a pickled finish. Also included is a maple chair with pierced cresting rail over combed spindles, and including rounded block stiles. The chair has a plaid covered slip seat and it rests on turned tapering block legs with a box stretcher.
