Item Details
An oil painting on canvas titled Puppy by artist Otto Hinteregger. This work features a profile view of a puppy with brown and golden hair, sitting in front of a cloudy blue and pink background. The painting is signed to the lower left; it is presented in an ornate gilt and gesso frame with low-relief foliate moldings and a tan cloth liner. A stamp and a couple labels from W.T. Burger Co. are present to the verso, one of which provides a short bio of the artist.
Condition
- backing paper cut out around verso of canvas; minor wear throughout frame including scratches, stains, and discoloration; snags present in upper right area of cloth liner.
