Pair of Antique German Porcelain Figures

Item Details

A pair of antique German porcelain figures in a Rococo Revival style. The pair include a French gentleman dressed in white gilded-flowered vest and coat with matching knee pants, holding a hat in is right hand, his left arm bent with hand to his waist. The other figure is a lady dressed in a corresponding Empire gilded flowered dress with tight under sleeves and puffed sleeves, holding a bonnet over her left arm along with a fan. The pair are mounted atop faux painted gold tree trunk support bases. Both are marked in blue ‘H.n.n’ to the verso, along with impressed numerals.
