A pencil signed limited edition offset lithograph after the original watercolor by Cincinnati-based wildlife artist and naturalist John A. Ruthven (born 1924), titled Red-Headed Woodpecker. The image depicts a red-headed woodpecker in flight amidst the fruit and foliage of a buckeye tree. The print is numbered 1088 in an edition of 1500 in pencil to the lower left margin. Title is printed to lower center. Artist signature is printed in plate and signed in pencil to the lower right. This print is framed behind glass, with grey/blue matting and wood frame.
