A 20th century Louis XVI style secretary desk. The wooden, cherry-stained case features a rectangular top with a three-quarter gallery above a slant front. The writing surface opens to a fitted desk interior with shelves and drawers. Directly below is a paneled drawer front with gilt-metal, ring pulls. It rises on tapered, fluted legs and the back is marked ‘Made In Italy’. The writing surface, drawer front, and apron are molded with musical trophy motifs.
