Antique Cigarette Dispenser Box

Item Details

A circa early 20th century antique mahogany box. It has a unique construction, with an insert that lifts up, set around a central piece with a depressed center. The insert would be filled with hand-rolled cigarettes, and when lifted up, the sloping sides of the interior compartment would cause one to roll down onto the central piece and rest in the depression. It has dovetailed corners and small square feet, and is unmarked.
