1920s Czech Lusterware Porcelain Canister Set
Item Details
A set of Czechoslovakian lusterware canisters. This set comprised of porcelain dates to the 1920s and is presented in white with an iridescent appearance. The set features fourteen pieces including two sizes of canisters labeled ‘Tea’, ‘Coffee’, ‘Rice’, ‘Barley’ and more, a salt container with a wooden hinged lid, and two cylindrical jars. The peices are marked to their underside ‘Union K Made in Czeche-Slovakia’ and ‘Czecho-Slovakia’.
Condition
- one lid has chip; scratches and nicks consistent with age; could benefit from cleaning; wear to gilt trim and lettering; signs of repair; one lid does not appear to match any pieces.
