An acrylic on canvas painting by listed artist Murat Kaboulov (Russian-American 1939 – 2010) portrait of a woman. Unlike many of Kuboulov’s portraits, the woman is painted with clearly defined features, while a dark background is a typically ambiguous interior. The unframed painting is signed ‘M. Kuboulov’ to the lower left. Additionally, ‘#1889 Murat Kabulov, 09, 20 × 24’ is written to the verso.
